We provide a safe space to learn tools that will empower students to live happier and more fulfilling lives.
- Renee, Recovery College Lead
When we began Inclusion Thurrock IAPT service, we found ourselves at the beginning of an exciting journey to create a shared space for learning, a well-being and recovery college. This was created in collaboration with Thurrock Mind and the students of the college and has continued to grow from strength to strength over the years.
The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic has seen the access to these valued and enlightening courses transition online to digital platforms and feedback has continued to be extremely positive.
It provides a relaxed, informal educational approach to well-being and recovery where people can come together to learn ways to live healthier, happier and more fulfilling lives.
Recovery can be hard on your own, but together we are more able to learn and discover a meaningful life. As human beings we all experience our own personal recovery journeys, and we can benefit greatly from sharing and learning from each other in a safe and equal place.
